Wednesday night WMU Lecture Series.
This year's WMU Lecture Series is featuring Women in New France. [This is also the theme for the Open House.] The July Lectures will be on the 21st and 28th and will be presented at the Niles District Library between 7 and 9 PM with refreshments too. Dr. Brandao of WMU will speek on "Women in New France - an Overview" for the first licture. On the 28th Karen Marrero, a doctoral candidate from Yale University will present "A tale of Three Marguerites: Women's Lives and Roles in Detroit and New France."

This year the open house at the dig site will be Saturday and Sunday, August 14 and 15.
